About the money.
Q01Is there a subscription?
No. Every price is a one-time payment. Guides and videos are yours to keep, and the design package is yours to use however you like.
Q02Do these prices include equipment?
No. Our prices are for plans, guides, media and labor. You buy panels, inverters and batteries from the makers or suppliers we link. The free preview gives a budget range for the equipment for your house.
Q03What if I already bought a guide and want a bundle?
What you paid is credited when you move up to the Library, DIY Complete or Pro Builder.
Q04Is the design credited if you install?
Yes. The full $149 comes off your installation price.
Q05Do you install outside Ulster, Orange and Dutchess counties?
Not yet. Designs, guides and videos work anywhere in the US, and a local contractor can build from the design package.
Q06Do affiliate links change what you recommend?
No. Some equipment links pay us a commission, and they’re marked. We recommend the same equipment either way.
